About
Annemie Erasmus Physiotherapy
Annemie qualified as a physiotherapist at the University of Stellenbosch in 2010 and completed her community service in the small town Cradock in the Eastern Cape. She then returned to her home town Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) in 2013 and has worked there in the private practice setting since then.
She has completed various post-graduate qualifications and courses including Orthopedic manipulative therapy diploma (in 2013) and her Masters degree in Physiotherapy through the University of Stellenbosch in 2021. Her thesis was on the information that lower limb amputees obtain during their rehabilitation process and if they feel it is sufficient or what they needed more during the time period. She has also completed courses in Dry Needling, Kinesiotaping and joint manual therapy courses.
Annemie realised early on that she had a passion for helping people and improving their quality of life. If that is to finish a 5km run, make the national sport team or to learn to walk with a prosthetic leg. Each person’s goal is equally important and will receive the same amount of care.
